Nothing else compares to this Jacket, It is worth every penny
I have tried a number of solutions for changing weather conditions on short and long distance rides. The "gore tex" logo I had long known was the only real solution but not ready to pay to play so to speak. Well, I wish I had much sooner. This jacket is a true 4 season garment. Riding in the SE, we get cold, rain, heat, humidity and elevation change. While you can go with a hot weather garment other than the badlands on summer days, if you are on a trip the badlands will do just fine in the middle of summer with all the vents open. When it is cold, the shell does its job by blocking the wind so that your mid layers can function properly. If you have been wrestling with liners and overcoats, pulling off under bridges to get changed, just buy this jacket and be done with the hassle. It's worth every penny.
the badlands tamed colorado
when someone says '' you paid too much'' , well they just don't get it. its not price, money is a vehicle, the end product is what we need . the badlands jacket is far above what the normal weekend warrior might need, but come and play in the mountains of Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, and try hitting all four seasons , push your bike thru 7 inches of fresh hail/snow, rained on like no other, get back down to 80 degrees and then stop and take your helmet off and tell your buddies that's still shaking off the wet cold that you only got your gloves a little wet!! This jacket is perfect. nothing can compare to its quality, fit , venting, durability and looks. I wear mine both street and trail adventures.
Loved my Badlands Jacket

I had been in the new Badlands Jacket from the Spring of 2015 till May 16, 2016. Also the Badlands Pant. Love both. I have been through snow storms, pouring rain/hail and incredibly hot weather. On one of my recent trips that was fairly high miles in a rather short period of time, I had an incident that put me in the hospital for a few days. The EMT's in Idaho had to cut my favorite jacket off of my body. I had an incident to the side of I-15 not to far from the KLIM USA main office. I had broken ribs, transverse processor cracks by my spine, rotator cup issues and a couple of other issues. I do believe that this jacket saved me. Had my front and rear padding on. If not for this jacket, I might not be writing this review. ATGATT is where it's at if you're wanting to come out of some issues like the one I just had. Thank you KLIM for a great product.
This jacket was made for people with ridiculously long arms and a pot belly. I am 6'-3" and weigh 220lbs with an athletic build. On the sizing chart for the XL, my arm length is at the upper range for this jacket, meaning the fit should be short if anything. The jacket's sleeve covers up half of my hand. It is more bearable when you are riding, but a good adventure jacket should fit well on and off the motorcycle.

Size Large is too small and constricting with no room for a base layer. I am very surprised at the big gap in fit between sizes leaving us people in between to choose if we want a baggy or boa constrictor fit.

When sitting on the bike the jacket bunches up in front of you because of the excess belly room, I really wish there were side straps to address this. The bunching causes the collar to push against your throat due to the stiff nature of the jacket.

Can't use vents while riding because the zippers get stuck. Good quality construction though.
Super awesome riding jacket I ever had . Lovely gerotex Guaranteed keep you dry , it never fail you ! Reliable zip and button. Tons of air intake ports, great airflow design .

*the jacket weight is heavy .
Very happy with it!!

This is a great jacket!! I have others, but never wear them anymore. I'm 5-8, 180 lbs, the medium fits good, took a bit to get used the the snug European fit, but, I think its designed that way to keep the protective armor in the correct position. I have worn it in rain, snow, heat, and cold, I blocks out all the wind and rain, but when it gets hot, open the vents and your good for 100+ degrees, If you still get hot, get your base layers wet, or wear a cooling vest, and it feels better than wearing nothing. I thought it was ridiculously expensive at first, now after the fact, I think its totally worth it. I have used it on trips as long as 25 days, wearing it every day, from Baja to Alaska, NO ISSUES!!!

Verbesserte Passform zum Vormodell. Extrem rasche hilfe da meine Pro Version unerwartet undicht war. Kann diese Firma samt Kundenbetreuung bzw. Service jedem nur wärmstens empfehlen. In jedem Fall das Geld wert!

I have the Jacket and bottoms and have done about 35 thousand miles in the past 18 months in all weather conditions Uk,Thailand,Wales,Ireland and they have never let me down. although quite heavy and bulky when you are carrying them, once on you just dont notice any of that even after a 500 mile day !!! ive only had a few low speed drops but even then the quality of the armour as saved me a few bruises..
my only gripe is the large front pockets are not even romotely waterproof they actually seem to attract water which is difficult to get out, Ive been seriously considered putting drain holes in them.
