Love, Love, Love these riding pants for adventure with my KTM 990. Took them on the Continental Divide Ride in August when early morning temps were in the 40's and the highs near 100. Near 100 they are a little warm but surprisingly, as long as you are moving, the vents do their job and keep you cool while you are still protected well from a crash. Get the size you would normally wear in jeans since the waist is still highly adjustable and still have up to two inches you could increase or decrease with velcro.
I use my Dakar pants for more aggressive enduro and trail rides because they are easier to move around in. If you are riding the street and mixing it up with jeep tracks and some single track, and want to keep warm when it snows, rains, etc., then the Traverse is where you want to be.
Great pants. Really waterproof and comfortable. I have used them for Adventures through Chile and Bolivia in a KTM 990.

Bought these at the end of summer, planning for the cold rainy winter months in Washington. They do fantastic on ~70 degree days, and the huge vents are great. Come time for rain, they are 100% water/leak proof. I personally wish I would have gotten one of the riding pants with insulation, as they get a bit cooler when it gets down below ~40 (not terrible by any means, but noticeable.). I have had no issues with the Velcro yet, it definitely doesn't feel the strongest but it seems to hold well enough. The biggest issue I have is they tend to slip down at the waist. With my jacket clipped in it is a non issue, but it can be a little bit of a pain when wearing a jersey. Overall, would buy again. They have done great for me so far!
Really liked mine, but the Velcro holding the legs shut just doesn't do the trick. Unfortunately the right pant leg came open on my enduro bike, resulting in the Velcro coming into contact with the exhaust and melting. I sewed new (and more) Velcro onto the pants and that fixed that.
Then the left leg came open on my dual sport...again allowing a non-heat protected portion of the bottom of the leg to come into contact with the exhaust on that bike. Unfortunately the damage to the left leg was too extensive to fix, thus the $ I spent on these pants is down the drain.
They're also pretty tough to get over knee braces...but you can do it with some work.
Good pants otherwise, and I've stayed very dry riding with these and the matching jacket in very extended downpours. The leg cuff enclosures just aren't secure enough to hold up to real enduro riding in my opinion.

Great riding pants!
I have owned these for about 6 months and have used them in hot, wet and cold weather. I bought them to go over my work pants so I ordered the next size up. I don't think I would have needed to do that. I have been caught in the rain a few times and have never been wet. With pants on under them i was riding in 20 F temps and never got cold. Wearing a light base they do really well into temps over 90F. I did add the 3D0 armour in the knees and they are low when walking but in the right place when riding. I would recommend them if you are on the fence.
