KLIM’s off-road pants: Chinook and Baja

Chinook
As the original king of versatility, the Chinook pant continues to rule with controlled ventilation for the toughest conditions. With 18” knee-to-hip adjustable intake zippers, the Chinook instantly adapts to temperature fluctuations generated by the environment and through physical exertion. Its dual-zipper design lets you dial in just the right amount of airflow.

Combined with Ballistic Nylons, KLIM-engineered motorcycle-specific Cordura fabrics, genuine leather panels and 3M industrial grade reflective materials, YKK Zippers and intelligent design features the Chinook is clearly the leader in strength, comfort and style.

Chinook features include multi-panel stretch zones in the legs, knees, and groin and seat areas to enhance the unrestrictive, comfortable fit. Interaction with knee braces and pads of all sizes is ideal with a lower-leg stretch panel as well.  Versatility has never been better with the addition of a fit-securing heavy duty belt—set up to accept ride accessories and to ensure a secure fit for differing base and mid-layers. Secure and sleek cargo pockets store trail necessities safely with quick accessibility.

The Chinook’s combination of strength, comfort, safety features, cargo capacity and durability make it the right in-the-boot pant for the world’s most demanding riders in the world’s most demanding terrain.

Baja
From the sweltering heat of the Southeast Enduro circuit and EnduroCross intensity to the rigors of races up and down its namesake, the Baja Pant defines high-temp comfort and brute strength.

Modeled after the Chinook pant’s class-leading in-the-boot form, the articulated Baja incorporates the most fully-vented, durable main body of any pant in off-road.

Surrounded by heavy duty Cordura Nylon in the main body and incorporating Ballistic Nylon in high-stress areas, the Heavy-Duty Structural Mesh chassis guarantees maximum airflow and supreme moisture movement to keep you cool, dry and comfortable. Inside, the Baja incorporates mesh moisture-wicking comfort liner material with Cordura Nylon in the inner knee to battle knee brace wear.

Additional stretch panels throughout the rear lower leg, rear seat, groin and upper knee keep these pants in proper motion. The Baja offers a more secure fit with less material bunching during on-the-bike movements and more flexibility for different sizes of base layers and body protection.
The Structural Mesh chassis also receives reinforcement by way of supportive seam construction to strengthen the face of the pant giving a more substantial feel without compromising airflow.

The Baja pocket design features storm flaps to deflect debris and water and a new zipper angle to make access to your storage easier when on the bike.  The Baja also incorporates a heavy-duty adjustable belt system to customize your pant’s fit and increase accessory capacity.

The Baja Pant is simply the best heat-killing, high-performance and all-day comfortable fully ventilated race and riding pant.
