I just wanted to take a quick moment to recognize you all at KLIM USA for outstanding customer service. I have been an extremely loyal customer of yours for years now and love your products. I purchased some KLIM boots for my wife a couple years ago when she was pregnant and apparently probably bought the wrong boots that did not fit her riding style. You guys after research did not find anything defective about the boots yet sent us a new pair that will work for her. In a time where customer service seems to have become not as important for many companies you at KLIM have obviously not conformed to that standard. The lady in customer service who communicated on many different occasions with me was extremely knowledgeable and awesome to work with. I can tell you that I truly appreciate what you do and how you do it.
Thanks again for second to none customer service and a great product!!!!

I am writing to thank you and your associates for being so helpful and professional during my warranty claim process. Some may say, "it's just part of the job", but a lot of companies have turned their shoulder on customer service and focus entirely on profits.
Klim has a satisfied customer for life. Now, if I could just pronounce it correctly...
Thanks Again,

I have owned top of the line clothing from the North Face, Marmot, Patagonia, Solstice, and Cloudveil in the last ten years. The KLIM clothing puts it all to shame. The quality and detail is amazing. Best clothing I have ever had. You guys have thought of everything with this clothing. Mike Duffy Avalanche Instructor.

Klim puts every effort into quality! I have experienced that from day one. I remember when my husband bought some Klim bibs the first year they were out. He rode in those bibs almost 4 years! I was like WOW! Too bad they don't make snowboarding clothes! I am brutal…Seriously BRUTAL on clothing. I ride an average of 3000 miles a season in my Klim gear and it always holds up & always looks like new when I give it a cold water rinse. I LOVE my Klim Moto gear too. The only thing I have managed to mess up is the toe of my Adrenaline boots…I keep skinning them for some reason...but it isn't the boots fault...I think I am rubbing them on my side panel clips when I kick my foot. I put black silicone on them & it seems to hold & protect them alright. If you saw some of the tree well lines I have FT out of, I am ALWAYS amazed my clothing doesn't rip. However, Budd actually ripped his pants last year, his pant caught on my handle bar as he pulled away in powder. That was A LOT of force, though. Of course this is all user fault not the gear failing. I was sponsored gear by two other companies over the last two years, I gave the clothing an honest try, but it didn't last ten rides before stuff fell apart or had me soaking wet, & frankly it was not comfortable. I like the fact I can wear my Moto knee pads under all my Klim pants, the other gear ripped out the lining when I wore them. So I would just put them all away and pull out my reliable old pullover & free ride pants!? Amber Holt, ‘Mini’ Backcountry pro rider.

I have been using your gear exclusively since starting to ride. I ride every corner of the Western US for myself as well as Team Summit where we constantly push the limits both weather wise and reliability wise. Year after year from -32 degF to 45 degF your equipment and gear sustains the right temerature as well as breathablity and protection, without compromising comfort and ease of access. I currently use the entire system as well as my wife from Balaclavas to Boots....we wouldn't leave the trailer without our Klim... we often get heckled for our love of the product as at times we look like Klim advertisements....I can tell you without question we will be advocates at every turn for the value in your product... After reading all of the testimonials on your web page I thought I would write one from Wisconsin. I bought my Togwotee Bibs and Klimate Jacket in December and I have ridden is some really varying conditions. We rode to Hurley in one of the coldest weekends we have had in a long time. The temps never rose above –6 F all weekend and when we rode out on Sunday it was –15 F. I won’t say I was warm but I was not cold either I was amazed at –15 F and 80 to 90 MPH on the railroad grade I couldn’t feel the wind. I also rode with the boys in the UP of Michigan we rode very aggressively and the gear moved the moisture out unlike any other gear I have ever had. Thanks.
Mike Norden - Mountain Rider - MN
I am 50+ yrs old and a very aggressive rider. I live in Northern Minnesota where it is cold and the snow is deep. I put 2000 to 3000 miles on sleds each year 1000 or so of these miles are out west. Most of my riding is off trail and I am always looking for fresh snow. For the last five years I have worn the same pair of Klim bibs and jacket on every excursion into the snow and that includes one to two weeks a year of down hill skiing out west (You guessed it, I wear my Klim wear for this sport also and boy do I get some funny looks). I don't ski many trails there either. The more steep and deep the better I like it. The thing I can't get over is I have never gotten wet through my Klim wear! On many occasions the outside of my bibs and Klim jacket are soaked and have water running down them yet when I take the Klim wear off I am dry! Even after 5 years no water comes through them. I have owned many sets of supposedly "water proof" cloths but none, except for yours, have ever lived up to their promisses for more than a year. I am impressed. P.S. Did I mention how well built the Klim wear is. After 5 years all the zippers still work and still have all the original pull straps on them. I'm talking about 5 to 6 months a year of use and all the parts are still functioning. Thats unheard of! If my Klim gear ever wears out I will definitly purchase another set! Everyone in my family now owns Klim wear and they work it, and love it, as much as I do. Thank you for the top quality products that are so rare today.
Josh - Trail Rider - Alaska
I just wanted to let you know how nice your gear is i own a pair of the free ride pants and also the everest pants. I went on a trip up at lake louise it was 30 below and there was about 9 of us in my group I was the only one with your products and i was also the only one that was warm. Im going to definately be purchasing more gear from you in the future I've never owned gear that kept me warm and comfortable at those temps it also is nice for the warmer temps because you dont overheat in them like you would with other products. Thanks for such a high quality product.

I was able to purchase a few items from Condotta Motor Sports in Wenatchee, Washington. They just arrived Tuesday, and I was able to pick them up today (Wed). I now own a balaclava, the aggressor set, the inferno, and the everest. Chris at Condotta's even gave me a Klim poster to put up with the snowmobiles; maybe it will help convert my dad! I'm just emailing you to say that I just LOVE the new stuff I got (He ordered me a set of everest, the aggressor pants, and the balaclava). I tried it on at the shop to make sure it would fit on my lunch break, and it was truly heartbreaking to have to take it off. I couldn't wait until I got home to put it all on. I put it on and spent some time outside (We have a bunch of snow here) and I was amazed. Normally with this little amount of clothing on, I'm shivering and running across the street so I don't freeze. I didn't get cold the entire time I was out there. I have never had anything that works even half as well as your clothing does; I will never again purchase any other brand. I only want the best. Thank you for making such an awesome product!

I have been using Klim Sled Wear for 3 seasons now. I think back to all the money I wasted on “waterproof” gear and wish I would have bought Klim the first time around. I have been in rain, snow, sun you name it and at the end of the day you are still dry and warm. Last season was the first year with the klim gloves, I even bought a second pair because everyone knows gloves get wet. Well I never used the spares at all. Best gloves I have ever tried. I will never wear anything else again...
Darryl - Mountain Rider
I ride at Revy nearly every week end from Dec to May and I have enjoyed wearing KLIM and being dry and warm for the past 2 years. Often we leave the?parking lot with rain falling and I am dry and warm all day long even for the ride out. After wearing KLIM for two years, I can honestly say buying my KLIM gear is the only time I have been truly satisfied with the performance and the money spent on snowmobile clothing. You will not be disappointed with KLIM.
Enzo - Trail Rider - Ontario
I ride in Northern Ontario and was used to big bulky gear that really never performed. With major reservation, I bought the KLIM base layer along with bibs and a jacket. I never really thought it would keep me warm enough, but I soon learned that if your are dry then you can be warm without all of the bulk. I got caught in the rain one day and I was the only one of the group that was dry, everyone else was totally soaked (in their other supposed top of the line "waterproof" gear). I don't encounter rain every ride but the KLIM system keeps my body moisture away from my skin and I remain warm and dry every ride. I have since purchased several more KLIM pieces for my family, it is well worth the money and is the only gear I will buy.
Mark Stevenson - Trail Rider - Ontario
I have been riding for over 25 years and can honestly say that my Klim suit is the best sled wear I have ever owned. Designed as a true "layered" suit it allows you to add or subtract layers according to weather conditions while the exterior lightweight GORTEX shell keeps you dry from rain or snow. With average 200-300 mile day trips in Northern Ontario. I have put my 3 year old KLIM suit to the ultimate test of high speed riding in HEAVY rain and COLD -30 degree weather. Regardless of the weather conditions my KLIM suit has always kept me comfortable.
My wife and I just returned from the 2010 PINK RIBBON RIDE held at Inlet NY. We experience a great time and felt that the whole event was a major success, I personally met Jody McKay after the live auction and thanked her for the hard work and forwhat she and her team does at these gatherings.
Also I wanted to pass on to you a huge thanks for Klim's sponsorship; without that, the event would not have had the same feel. Your products where right there at the top of everyone's list and the crowd would “AH!“ whenever something from KLIM was involved! Even a Klim Cap!
I am fortunate to be able to wear your apparel, and will continue to do so, and I also feel a sense of pride while wearing your products, after seeing that you give back to a very worthy cause, and I hope you will continue to do so!
Kenny Johnson - Alaska
First off I have to say thank you for the sponsor that made it possible for me to run the two 2010 Iron Dog sportin' your riding gear. I was truely amazed at how well it worked; like they say it does unlike other brands that I have tried in the past. It was able to keep me warm in temperatures from 30 above wearing a base layer of Klim, mid layer and the outer shell to 25 below doing a hundred miles and with the wind chill of what that adds out to be wearing two Klim base layers and a mid layer and the outer shell, witch was the Valdez Parka and the Togwotee Bibs and PowerXross Gloves. 1,971 miles from Big Lake to Nome then on to Fairbanks on the Iron Dog trail, the worlds longestand toughest snowmobile race. But most of all thank you for making it possible for my partner and I (Team 30 Andy Lachinski and me Kenny Johnson) to race and finish the Alaska Iron Dog Race.
Amanda
I wanted to send this e-mail to extend my warmest thanks. Your Klim gear helped save my husband's life this past weekend. On Sunday the 12-27-09 my husband went snowmobiling on Medicine Bow National Forest in Wyoming. He had received a new pair of Klim Togwotee Bibs for Christmas and was so excited to use them. To make a long story short my husband went out snowmobiling at 9am on Sunday morning, and got stuck and lost with a friend. They had to spend the night in the mountains in -20 degree weather, trench through waist deep snow, and were not found by search and rescue until 3pm the following day. When he was rescued he only had minor frost bite on one toe. He kept saying how glad he was to have his new Klim bibs. That they had kept him dry all night. He thinks that if he would not have had his Klim bibs on things would have been much worse. We are very grateful to all of you who put such time and effort in to making such a reliable product. The only problem that he ran in to with the bibs was that he fell asleep a little to close to the fire that night and melted the knee on his right leg. I am wondering if you make a patch that I could fix the melted spot with. I have looked through your web site and can't seem to find anything like that. We will probably get him a new pair next season, but right now can't afford another pair, so we were thinking that a Klim patch would be great. Please let me know if you make a patch for these bibs, and where I can purchase one. My husband has said that we will only buy Klim gear from now on, because you never know what will happen. Again, thank you. If it wasn't for your amazing product, and the search and rescue team who knows how bad the situation could have been. I can't thank you enough I know the Klim team played a big part in him coming home safe.
Bill Bradfield, President MichCanSka
I wanted to inform you about my first riding experience with Klim Clothing. I am the president of the MichCanSka Snowmobile Club and the ride of a lifetime from Sault Ste. Marie Michigan to TOK Alaska that starts on February 15,2010. Four of the riders including myself just completed a two day ride in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and covered 600 miles. Three of us were wearing Klim clothing and what a great experience it was! If you are looking for comfort, warmth and style you need not look any farther than Klim products. I have been riding snowmobiles since 1968 and I never felt as comfortable and warm as I did on this trip~I wore the under layer, the mid layer and the outer shell and it was fantastic. If you are an avid snowmobiler and enjoy being comfortable while you are riding Klim high tec clothing is the way to go. I highly recommend your clothing to all snowmobilers and this is why we have chosen Klim USA as the official clothier of the MichCanSka Snowmobile Ride of a Lifetime from Michigan to Alaska.

I have raced the Tesoro Iron Dog 11 times and all but 2 of those years I have been fortunate enough to be wearing Klim gear. It is without a doubt the best gear on the market today and I have been absolutely amazed at the level of quality and performance that this gear offers. What other race is there where the temperatures can vary from +40 to -60 and the same gear is expected to perform at the top level in both extremes? I’ve had race starts where it was +40 and pouring rain and other race starts like in ’08 where it was -38 and Klim Outerwear was there to keep my warm and dry. This gear has helped me to 2 second place finishes in the past 3 years and 7 top 5 finishes and I couldn’t ask for a better product.

Klim…..The Real Deal
Gimmick, as defined by the Encarta Dictionary, is a piece of trickery or manipulation intended to achieve a result of dishonesty. Unfortunately, working in the outdoor industry I see, and have tested such products. The only good that comes through testing these publicity stunts is that it allows one to appreciate the times when a truly meaningful product hits the market. Two years ago at family Christmas gathering my wife’s grandfather, who is a snowmobiling fanatic, gave me a Klim base layer set. He told me it would be the warmest moisture wicking apparel I ever owned. With a nod of my head I stuffed the black top/bottom into a bag and that is where it remained for nearly a year; I had plenty of other base layers. The following hunting season I found myself winding through an alpine maze in an unexpected, early fall blizzard. A fresh blanket of white quickly covered the forest floor, and in minutes it was over my ankles. I was miserable! The amount of energy I was exerting while trying to scramble back towards camp caused sweat to pour from my body, and I was getting chilled. Many miles, and several hours later I stumbled into camp and warmed my trembling body by the crackling fire. While my companions ridiculed me for wandering to far from camp I slipped out my cloths. My chosen base layer was soaked to the bone and had no chance of being dry for the following mornings hunt. Luckily, I had stuffed last years Christmas present into the bottom of my pack. Dawn broke clear and cold. Steam rolled from my mouth as I ambled up a slippery slope in search of a screaming bull elk. One ridge quickly turned to another and before long I had covered several miles. Like the previous day I had worked up quite a sweat, but misery was nowhere in today’s equation. My Klim layer was keeping my warm, comfortable, and dry, which are three absolutes for the backcountry hunter. To say I was impressed would be a major understatement. Since that day on the mountain Klim gear covers my body head to toe. I have even tested it in 100-degree heat, sitting inside a ground blind, waiting hours for a pronghorn to visit my refreshment stand. Because it collected sweat, it actually kept my body cooler, allowing me to sit all day in the sweltering heat. From their Gore-Tex Parkas to their Aggressor Briefs, Klim has something for any situation Mother Nature will throw at you. Be sure to give their products a look, you won’t be disappointed! I just got home last night from racing the iron Dog and wanted to drop you a few notes about the race and our Klim gear. After encountering -55 to -60F temperatures on the Yukon River between Ruby and Galena, we were forced to scratch in Galena on Tuesday due to mechanical failures. The cold temperatures caused the grease in our steering to freeze up making the sleds nearly uncontrollable. I could grab the toes of my skis and drag the machine from side to side without the bars moving at all! The second problem was our shocks failed completely on my machine by losing all pressure. My machine looked like a "Low Rider" with the skid plate only 2" off the ground. All the other Team 40 machines were in the process of losing pressure also. On the other hand, we were delighted with our Klim gear. Everything worked perfectly the entire race. Even after getting damp from perspiration after digging out snow machines along the trail our gear kept us warm. I knew that Klim gear was good, but not this good. Each day of the race my brother and I would comment on how well the Klim gear worked. When I removed my jacket in Ruby I had ice on the the shoulders between my Tech Vest and the coat yet I stayed warm! We felt that the entire system including the boots worked extremely well. At this time we are already planning our 2010 attempt at the Iron Dog. You can rest assured we will be wearing Klim gear. Once again, "Thank You" for all of your help and support! Wil Smith Team #40.

I have been riding snowmobiles in the Rocky Mountain backcountry of Colorado for the past 15 years. I’ve worn top of the line gear from many of the big name manufacturers over these years. I ride 3-5 days a week and spend about 6-8 hours each day in the backcountry filming for Braaap Films and/or just riding for fun. They way I look at it, my clothing is one of my main life saving components and must keep me dry at all times. This past weekend I was riding Rabbit Ears Pass, it was dumping and had to be some of the wettest conditions I’ve ever ridden in. At the end of the day I was warm as could be and bone dry! I wear Klim from head to toe. I wear the Xtreme Bib, Valdez Parka, PowerXross Gloves, Adrenaline Boots and an F4 Helmet. After riding in Klim gear I would never again wear anything but Klim because it truly is the best snowmobiling gear on the market. It also helps that they have some of the friendliest staff I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. Thank you KILM for making awesome gear that keeps you dry, looks good and is extremely functional.
Doug Peterson - Mountain Rider - CO
I started riding with the F4 helmet mid-year 2007 and LOVE it. I wore it through the end of the snowmobile season and was surprised at how well it vented, and yet stayed warm with the windstopper liner. I wore the helmet this past dirt biking season with the standard liner and can honestly say none of my other helmets vent as well. Highly recommended for either dirt or snow.....or preferably BOTH.

I am writing this letter to inform you of my absolute confidence in your products. During mid February of this year I was on a snowmobile trip in Northern Canada when we encountered sustained frigid temperatures of thirty to fifty below zero (Fahrenheit), in which we traveled approximately twelve hundred miles. My good friend Bill Clark and myself were the only two on nine men wearing your products (Inferno shirt, Inferno pant, Rubicon fleece and Balaclava). We were completely comfortable. They were not. I also had the unfortunate experience of poking a hole in my hear exchanger. Why am I telling you? Simple, your clothing saved me while being towed fifty-five miles. I can assure you that orders will be placed by the remaining seven holdouts in our group. Keep up the good work. Thank you!

I just wanted to drop a line to you guys to say thanks for making such a high quality product. I was in the massive avalanche in BC last weekend and was wearing your bibs. I was taken down the mountain 3500 vertical feet through trees, rocks, and of course plenty of snow, which was wet and very heavy. I just wanted to tell you guys your bibs are bomb proof, not even a tear or scratch in the pants. Then after the avalanche was over I stayed warm and dry which was key to being here today! Thanks again for the great product and if you need anything else for a promo I would be glad to help out! Thanks again.

I would like to first thank you for making such a great product. I have been using the “enduro” line for 3 years, countless miles on the motorcycles and could not be happier. Well, I wanted the same durability in my winter gear and I had the great idea to use the freeride pants and the valdez parka as part of my ski patrol uniform. Two years of working at my local ski resort and I have never felt wet or complained about the weather. Thanks again! We would like to thank everyone who has contributed a testimonial in the past.

Erik Iverson - Mountain Rider - Colorado
