Born in Kristiansand, Norway, where my brother and sister still lives. Education as a technical photographer and worked as a photographer for the Norwegian rescue service in Lakselv, Norway, 70 degrees North. While living in the far north I owned a snowmobile and a motorcycle, never had a car. Sold the snowmobile and started to ride the world on my BMW R80G/S. That journey lasted 10 years and on the way I had met Karen Ofsthus, the love of my life and now my wife. After writing my first book "10 Years on 2 Wheels" I started a Motorcycle Adventure Travel company which I named GlobeRiders.

Today I do Motorcycle Adventure tours to all corners of the world. We specialize in long distance journeys where each member has to bring their own bike specially prepared for the Adventure ahead. GlobeRiders also produce documentary Motorcycle Adventure films and instructional films.
