Born and raised in Upstate New York, I moved to Jackson Hole for the mountains (following my brother's lead). I quickly became a ski bum in the winter, and a mountain bike bum in the summers . . .play all day and work at nite!

My energy later became my business, Kate's Real Food, which sustains me on long days in the mountains.

Four years, and four injuries ago, I found dirt biking. I love being in the mountains, the challenge of becoming a better rider, the excitement, and being so perfectly in the moment while I am riding. Racing brings that all to a higher level for me. Traveling to new riding areas to race and meeting all the great folks in the riding community is certainly one of the biggest highlights.

My other fun play is still mountain biking, skiing, and now ice hockey.
