Pacfic Northwest Rider, Mark Donham (aka Radioman) will be with us on May 10, 2014. Please join us in welcoming Mark 31 months and 90,000 miles of riding. Mark's journey covered 26 countries and 6 continents. Mark started with a ride around the US and Canada before venturing through Central and South America with side trips to Antarctica and the Galapagos Islands. And he completed his adventure by visiting India, New Zealand, Australia and Southern Africa.
Come hear his story. And the story begins with a touching saga of saying "the long goodbye" to his lovely wife, Chris, and the romance they shared over 20 years. And then there is the motorcycle adventure of a lifetime. Mark will share some photos and videos from the travels, and answer the big questions of why someone would leave the comfort of home to ride around the world, what bikes he has ridden (3 main bikes), some of the challenges, logistics and costs of a trip like this, and more than a few stories of the life on the road!
