Stealth Jacket & Bib Reviews
Cole Willford
Cole Willford, world champion hill climber and premiere back country rider:

“As a professional hill climber and backcountry rider I have come to expect nothing but the best from Klim gear. The protection and comfort it gives me is superior to the rest. What I did not expect, is for Klim to once again prove why they are the leader in the clothing industry during my test ride in the new stealth gear earlier this season.

The stealth gear provided the fit and mobility that professionals like myself could only dream of, until now! Others will try to follow but only Klim will lead you to greatness.

The lightweight stealth gear conforms to your body and flows with every movement without any restriction. It provides an athletic look and feel, all the while keeping you warm and dry in the most extreme conditions. Competitors can only hope to replicate.”
Matt Entz
Matt Entz, premiere back country rider and owner and operator of Mountain Skillz, a riding clinic in Colorado teaching novice to pro riders:

When asked if he likes the new Stealth Jacket and Bib- “like it! UNDERSTATEMENT! New standards for technical mountain gear will be set with that line far above and beyond anything else ever produced.”
Jared Sessions
Jared Sessions, premiere back country rider and a fulltime employee of Boondockers specializing in turbo kit manufacturing, fueling and tuning:

“The new Klim stealth gear is sweet. I love the custom fit without mobility restrictions. The pockets and venting are very usable and convenient. I think this Stealth gear is going to be awesome for the active back country winter sports activist and racer”.

Brain Dump:

The Stealth series was designed for extreme back country boondockers that continually push the limits of their bodies, machines, and the elements in which they ride.

Lighter, Faster, Stronger with Max Mobility... is the Stealth’s M.O.

• The Stealth Jacket is aprx. 25% lighter than the current Valdez Parka and the Stealth Bib is aprx. 20% lighter than the current Togwotee Bib. The weight reduction comes from new high tech materials never used before in this industry along with an all new athletic cut. Also, the absence of a hanging liner reduces weight, eliminates bunching and binding, and allows for maximum breathability and venting. Guys will spend thousands of dollars to lighten their sleds and now we have given them one more way to shed those precious pounds while increasing breathability and venting.

• Faster is obtained through the precise articulation and patterning on the Stealth Jacket and Bib along with the industries 1st use of STRETCH Gore-Tex. The stretch Gore-Tex nylon shell fabric will give you the maximum amount of mobility needed for that full throttle assent at the Jackson Hole Hill Climbs or if you testing your limits of extreme boondocking though deep powder and dense trees.

Stretch, stretch, stretch... everything from the stretchable nylon material in the powder skirt and gators to the new YKK SOFLEX stretchable zipper used in the Bib. The extremely durable Nylon 6.6 overlays in the elbows and shoulders are even four-way stretch.

• Stronger comes from the durable Nylon 6.6 overlays in high wear areas, unsurpassed construction quality, The Gore-Tex guarantee to keep you dry backing, and the new durable stretch Gore-Tex body material. The stretch material will "give" when other materials will simply tear under extreme pressure. Also adding to the extreme durability is the industries 1st use of D30 padding in both the Jacket and Bib. D30 is a worldwide leader in impact protection and shock absorption with innovative and pioneering padding that is far superior to the competition.

• Another feature that makes this jacket so special is the comfort you will find in this jacket. It all starts with the soft supple flannel backing material of the triple layer Gore-Tex fabric. This backing also aids in wicking moisture away from your skin. The Stealth Jacket and bib are the softest and most comfortable Gore-Tex outerwear that we have ever made. The light weight construction and stretch in this jacket takes the comfort level over the top. Under all the high wear overlay panels you will find a micro fleece backed 3 layer Stretch Gore-Tex material. This micro fleece backer adds another layer of padding along with a light level of insulation.

Two more awesome features on this jacket will be the max venting and max storage. The venting on this jacket is designed with a backpack in mind. There are venting options and angles never before seen in the industry like wrist vents and bicep vents. This jacket will have considerably more storage than any other jacket we have ever made due in part to the rear pass-through storage pocket on the back of the Stealth Jacket.
