KLIM’s Ty Tremaine Dominates Mexico SuperEnduro
Rigby, Idaho (January 23rd) – KLIM athlete Ty Tremaine felt absolutely perfect on the highly technical SuperEnduro course in Guadalara, Mexico over the weekend and turned that feeling into three perfect main event wins to sweep a World Championship round for the second time this season.
The young FMF/RPM/KTM Racing Team Maxxis rider currently leads the 2015 MAXXIS FIM SuperEnduro World Championships’ Junior Class.
The unique race structure of the World Championships includes three main events per class. Tremaine swept all three of the first round’s races in Mexico, racing with few mistakes and plenty of speed.
"I am super happy with how I rode,” Said Ty Tremaine. “I wanted that win bad. I just rode smooth and smart because there was a really technical rock section. I made the fewest mistakes out there winning all three motos! I just now need to carry the momentum into Brazil next week.”
It was another strong showing for the young American EnduroCross specialist racing in KLIM’s all-new XC gear.
Tremaine’s KLIM teammate, and reigning GEICO AMA EnduroCross Champion Cody Webb, rode another solid race weekend abroad in Mexico and came a way with second overall after three hard-fought main events. Webb battled with defending champion Taddy Blazusiak in every race. Webb would win the second main event after pulling away on the final lap. In the third and final main event, the overall was up in the air with Blazusiak edging out Webb for the win in the final corner—another exciting night of SuperEnduro racing, for sure.
