KLIM’s WEBB WINS IN BRAZIL
Rigby, Idaho (March 3, 2015) – KLIM athlete Cody Webb took his first win of his 2015 International Tour over the weekend when he locked down the top spot at the Brazil round of the 2015 MAXXIS FIM SuperEnduro World Championships.
The FMF/RPM/KTM Racing Team Maxxis lead rider battled hard through the three main events to earn the most points and the overall and take the win ahead of Extreme Enduro and EnduroCross/SuperEnduro legends David Knight and Taddy Blazusiak.
Webb went to the front of the pack quickly in the first main, hanging on to win with KTM’s Jonny Walker in second and a Knight in third. In the second main, the start order is reversed and Webb had to fight from the back, eventually charging to second place in the closing laps. It was the third and final race that held all the drama. Early going it was Walker in front again with Webb on the hunt when the two collided in the first turn, hitting the ground hard. Webb would re-mount and battle to third while Walker was forced out of the race with a track banner caught in his rear wheel. Knight would go on to win the main from start-to-finish. In the end Webb’s 1, 2, 3 finishes was just enough to put him on top.
From Enduro21.com:
“…It feels great to have finally got my first win in SuperEnduro,” told WEBB. “Coming into the final race I was tied on points with Walker for the overall but then we crashed in the first corner. I got going again but crashed a second time. Somehow I managed to claw my way back to the third and it was enough for the overall.”

Webb’s KLIM teammate, Ty Tremaine, rode a solid race in Brazil as he continues his charge on the 2015 MAXXIS FIM SuperEnduro World Championships’ Junior Title. The young Nevadan battled with Andreas Linusson from Sweden, splitting the first two wins. Linusson would take the third leaving Tremaine with second overall on the evening.
