Great Pant, tight knee...
My original Badlands Pants have seen many years of hard use. Time for an upgrade. I'm 6'1" and weigh 178lbs. My waist is 32" and my inseam is 34". My old BL Pant was a 32 Tall and fit well. The new 32 Tall Badlands Pant has some nice refinements including the repositioned thigh vents and much better placement/securing of the knee protection. But, make sure you have the opportunity to try them on. The 'better placement/securing of the knee protection' comes with a reduced circumference right at the bend in the knee. This was done I'm sure to reduce shifting of the knee armor. But, it comes with a price - a somewhat tight pant leg at the knee when bent - even if the above and below knee adjustment straps are loose. So, make sure to try them on and sit on your (a) bike so you get the proper size for your knee comfort.
I really like the pants and recommend them.
The new BADLANDS, follow the Kodiak line, or is it all as before?
Update to my 32Tall Review...
Klim exchanged my 32Tall for a 34Tall. The 34Tall is bigger in the waist/butt area than I would have liked (makes my butt look big) and I was surprised that the knee circumference is still just a bit on the tight side and I don't have thick legs at the knee area. This pant is not so tight that it is uncomfortable to ride in though. I now use suspenders with these pants. I think long term Klim will need to rethink the knee dimensions on these pants. With the cinch straps above and below the knee, these pants could have more room in the knee circumference and still have the knee protection stay in place.
Still love the pants!
KLIM Badlands Pants

I have the KLIM Badlands Pants for a year now and I'm extremely happy with them.
I using them daily, commuting to work weekend/holiday trips on all weather conditions, from frosty mornings (-6 degrees Celsius), rain and sunny days (I had up to 40 degrees Celsius, and vents did a great job).
After 40000 miles and 1 year round of use, I'm extremely happy with them. Excellent fit , Very comfortable to wear all day, fully waterproof and breathable. definitely I'll recommend.
Extremely good customer service from Klim has been provided for the leek KLIM Badlands Pro Pants had.
Holding Up To What I Dish Out
After 2 years of riding with "Bring More Wallet" pants that were shredding apart I decided to give the Badlands a try. So far I have had no material flaking off even with me punching the ground in some unintentional test. I like the quality, the fit and the safety features.
I wear a 32 and these fit true to size for me.
