Hardanger HTD Long Glove
Ratings & Reviews
Best gloves I've ever had!!
I recently had surgery on my index finger and the nerve, circulation had major issues in the cold. Even just walking outside to the car. I tried a number of mitts & gloves. Nothing worked. I ordered these and was able to stay out and sled with the guys all day!! Never even needed to switch out gloves when digging out stuck sleds. The dexterity is highly impressive as well. Literally saved my winter.
These gloves are great. Only have used them 4 times before the snow and salt got on the roads. 24-26' F for about 40 minutes each time. I run on medium. Quality looks great, not too thick so you can use the controls.
Great gloves, short battery life.
The quality of the gloves is excellent. Excellent armor, while the insulation and gore-tex is great against the elements. The palm is not insulated and allows good dexterity for use of bike controls. I think these may be best combined with heated grips on colder days. I wear large in Dainese and A* and the large in these is just a tad roomy, but not too bad. My one concern is the life of the batteries. If I allow the gloves to run on high for the 1st 10 minutes then automatically switch to medium heat, the batteries will go dead in about 90 minutes. I will experiment more by manually switching over to medium sooner and see how much more heating time that delivers. With that being said, I will not plan on the gloves lasting for extended day trips unless I pack spare batteries.
