Waterproof

DAVID

I’ve had several one piece suits over the years. I prefer a good one piece when riding into work. This is my first one piece suit that has it all. I have the armor, the ventilation, the storage, the convenience, and finally something completely waterproof! It’s been raining nonstop here at home the last few days and every morning I felt completely comfortable riding into work at 5am, in the pouring rain. It’s warm and snugly and my work clothes underneath are always completely dry. I love it. I carry it on my bike everywhere. I’d buy the Hardanger suit again and again.

Excellent Suit for Heavy Use

StorckTrek

I am based in the UK and ride all year (no car). Winters are typically cold and wet, the roads are dirty and traffic very heavy. I was 100% Rukka but wanted a fully waterproof one-piece so that I could wear 'normal' clothes underneath. The Hardanger looked great; not too bulky and the armor seemed excellent. I have now been using for 6-months in all winter weather conditions. It has been completely waterproof, easy to layer up and very comfortable when on the bike. It was also close to £800 cheaper than the equivalent top of the line 2-piece. Downsides: getting into it can be a pain (I go to my happy place) and there is no cable slot for heated gear (or I have not found it). Plus, you need a pannier or large top box to store it when off the bike. For my type of riding it is excellent, I would definitely buy again.
