Unknown for all the wrong reasons!

    Roelof Veldhuis

Wow, finally I have found a worthy successor of my aging BMW Summer 3 (discontinued in 2019) adventure motorcycle pants. First impressions are excellent: comfortable, safe, good ventilation (all metal zippers and mesh liner), easy access zippers, durable and good looking. They don't have the zip-off legs, but frankly I have never used them.

try on don't go by the sizing guide

    Darren

Whilst the recommended size for me is 38, (I have a 39 inch waist), the 38s simply slide off me.. The rest of the fit is good, I dare say the 36 would be too tight around the nether regions, as the 38s fit well otherwise. strongly suggest you try them on, and not buy online using the "recommended" sizing.. I am going to have a tailor take them in as its too expensive to return, and think the 36 will be too tight in places I want some space.

Just Pull The Trigger, They Are Awesome

    Nate M.

I was the dude that wore my blue jeans on the bike with an armored jacket. After a friend went down on gravel and wore through his armor, I decided I needed an armored pair of pants. Immediately before departing to Red River Scramble 2020 I swung by Iron Pony and these caught my eye. Tried them on, and immediately was on the 1190ADV heading to Kentucky. Conditions were 63-80 Fahrenheit over the 4 day trip and these pants with only compression shorts underneath were very comfortable. Vents/Pockets are very well made with metal hardware, I almost forgot I was not wearing blue jeans. Did encounter steady rain for about 40 minutes but did not get too wet. My only critical criticisms are that the inseam seemed a bit short. Each time I mounted the bike I needed to pull the waist up a bit so it was not tugging as the bike's saddle was trying to push the pants up. Second the water proofing lacked. I'm 6'3" 208lbs Tall rather than the regulars if available. 34/GRAY/3917-000-034-600

    Practically Unlimited Versatility

    M Slayer

Been riding a pair of these a few thousand miles over the back roads of north/central coast of California for the past couple of years, and have found them to be flawlessly versatile. My riding day can start out at the coast at 50 degrees in fog and drizzle, and be in the hills at 100 degrees by lunch time. They slip on perfectly over a thin mid-layer, and never feel too hot with the side vents and leg vents open. Very comfortable when walking around. I set up camp, go for a short hike, never wishing I had something else to change into. Yeah, I'm totally satisfied with these. Can't attest to the crash protection, knock on wood. Others have.
