So much easier to use than elbow pads and chest protector. Comfortable and relatively cool in warm weather. Also works great with the Klim Vest Pack with shoulder pads. Excellent product and will always wear it because its easy to use.
Great Armor, Great Fit.
No complaints about what is intended to do. I have had other armored shirts and this one almost seems like it is not there in terms of weight and range of motion. It seems silly to give Klim a 4 out of 5 on this piece, but it could be redesigned to fill a massive gap in the Dual Sport/Adventure market. If the chest armor could be re-designed to feature a center full zip, along with an attached external floating Mojave mesh vest with a couple small waist pockets, similar to Klim's Hi-Vis vest, you could take the entire unit on and off as one piece, rather than having to remove every layer at every stop. With Klim's Gore-tex Packlite Forecast jacket and pants on hand, this would be an incredibly versatile system. Mojave Jacket Klim?
Great product, provides good protection.
Another great Klim product. I can't say this enough, I LOVE that Klim actually makes gear like this in larger sizes for big guys like me (6'4", 300+ lbs... basically my body type is the same as JJ Watt's, but if he were 48 years old and had an extra 50 lbs of dad weight on him). Anyway, bought the 3X, fits great (as expected) and is great either as "light armor" its own or underneath my other "hard" armor for more treacherous enduro riding.
good, but needs thicker 3d0 armor
I have the tactical shorts, pants & shirt. The shirt could be so much better IMO. IF the elbow and should had thicker 3d0. Even the pants/shirt, I velcrow attach level2 3d0 for hips and I run knee braces. Klim, offer a soft body armor solution for dualsport/dirt bikers. I have a lot of klim ADV jackets/pants, I just don't trust the floating armor in the big/heavy jackets. I'd love to buy the klim version of > Forcefield Pro Jacket X-V 2
