Bought along with the induction jacket. Great pants, fit is okay, extremely good ventilation, only complaint is when you are walking around the knee D3o armor hits the bottom of the knee. It's fine when riding just slightly annoying when walking around. These will not fit over your pants and barley fit over a pair of shorts
The almost perfect ventilated pant
Great ventilation, quality materials and construction, and perfect fit if you take the time to fit them. These pants fit small (a 34" waist fits like a 33"), so buy accordingly. Tall size needed if you're long legged (I'm a 34" inseam, tall size is just right). The adjustable waistband works well. All day comfortable, on or off the bike. NOT intended to be worn over regular pants, but a thin layer (silks or icebreakers) underneath helps wick sweat in hot weather, and makes the pants work even better. Minor gripes: 1) just one pocket, and it's pretty small. I realize that these are mesh pants, and that more pockets = less ventilation, but a cargo pocket on the side of the thigh would be a welcome addition. 2) My second pair of Klim pants, and both have the big opening, velcro adjustable cuffs. Extremely useful and infinitely adjustable, but why does the flap overlay face forward instead of backwards?
In all, great pants that I'd be happy to buy again.
Bought the size 32 pants based off the fit wizard, but too big in waist and too long. Should've bought size 30 for my size.
Awesome pant other than the fit. Great on a 100deg day with shorts underneath and still good on colder days with pants underneath.
