Lifestyle Apparel Developer

Essential Function

 

The Product Developer has a key role in the creation and dissemination of technical information and documentation necessary for the timely and quality manufacture of KLIM products. This position is responsible for the development of product, from design to final prototype, which translates the consumer need into a brand aligned product brief that can be commercialized with profit margins which drive P&L goals. Drive lifestyle and functional products to achieve KLIM’s quality standards. 5+ year’s experience in a Lifestyle brand, preferably a brand with heavy direct to consumer presence.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

 

  • - Produce, manipulate, and modify technical sketches of accessory products using Adobe Illustrator based on input from Sales, Branding and Design/Creative;
  • - Using input from Sales, Branding and Design/Creative, account requirements, and institutional knowledge create technical packages containing accurate technical sketches, bills of materials, construction, packaging and other technical information to be used by factories in calculating costs for and producing products;
  • - Together with the Research and Development group review prototype, pre-production, and production samples against technical packages and formulate feedback and constructive criticism together with clear direction that brings about successful completion of projects within given time constraints;
  • - Collaborate with others in the department to manage workloads to meet deadlines while achieving the highest level of quality and accuracy;
  • - Support & assist Design in establishing all product specifications required in the Tech Pack;
  • - Prepares and maintain an accurately updated Specification Info for every product;
  • - Serves as a proactive conduit between the designer and sourcing throughout the development of a session;
  • - Accountable for the staying on calendar, implementing process, proto critiques, accuracy of the specification pack and eventually the accuracy of the sales sample and production tech packs;
  • - Creates documented critiques of each prototype against its agreed product specification, tracking all comments, changes and specifications during the stages of critique;
  • - Takes a proactive role through entire product design process (research, design concept presentation, illustrations, fit and direction and development of specification pack);
  • - Constructs and follows-up product briefs and delivers a product that adheres to a specific target FOB;
  • - Proactively communicates with internal team, contractors, Sourcing team, and material suppliers during the entire development process;

Global Logistics Sr Specialist

Essential Function

 

Supervise, coach, train and strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation operations

 

Duties and Responsibilities

     

  • Oversee the transportation of POs from factory to KLIM/509/Polaris DC.
  • Assist with department training.
  • General backup and support for logistics team
  • Point of escalation for freight forwarders, customs brokers, and trucking partners.
  • Document policies or procedures for logistics activities.
  • Analyze and recommend logistics solutions to optimize cost, transportation modes, routing, equipment, or frequency efficiencies.
  • Assist in 3PL distribution centers operation to ensure achievement of cost, productivity, accuracy, or timeliness objectives.

Lifestyle Direct to Consumer Sales Manager

Essential Function

 

The Lifestyle Direct to Consumer Sales Manager is responsible at the highest level for the direction, vision, and management of Klim’s lifestyle direct to consumer sales. This position will map out Klim’s strategy for direct to consumer sales based on revenue goals, brand initiatives, product offering and current trends both long term and seasonal. This position will leverage the team that collectively will put seasonal plans in place and drive forecasted revenue using direct to customer platforms including but not limited to marketplace, social media, email marketing, and Klim’s website. This position will also need to work with others in the organization to ensure vision and direction are inline with the rest of the company. Other responsibilities include online web image, e-commerce channels, email marketing and social media outlets in relation to lifestyle. The E-Comm portion includes managing KLIM’s B2C lifestyle content pages and end user communication channels with KLIM. The digital media responsibilities are to manage KLIM’s growing lifestyle presences on Klim’s social media channels via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and Linkedin and managing all of KLIM’s mass emailing efforts.

Apparel Product Developer

Essential Function

 

The Product Developer 2 position is responsible for helping drive continuity between multiple products within a product category to ensure fit, function, performance, and quality are consistent with a customer’s expectation. They directly manage all aspects of the development for products starting from initial design to production prototype and may have the additional opportunities for management of a small team. They are experts in collaborating with both PLM and Design Teams to accomplish line plan and margin goals. 

 

Duties and responsibilities – Focus on a collection of styles within a product line. Has knowledge and skill set to be able to support where needed and is able to lead a team.

     

  • - Create Technical Data Packages containing accurate technical drawings, bills of materials, size charts/ fit comments, and construction requirements to be used by factories in calculating costs and producing products.
  • - Oversees the modification of technical drawings and construction illustrations for the product using Adobe Illustrator.

Logistics Clerk

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

 

The Logistics Clerk is responsible for providing visibility to KLIM’s inbound and outbound international freight shipments.  Main point of contact for the domestic trucking operation in the USA and assists with similar programs in Canada and Europe.  Leads the efforts in packaging and shipping optimization reducing freight spend and damaged goods.

Associate Demand Planner

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

 

The Associate Demand Planner/Buyer provides the analytics in assortment planning, key item planning, and the allocation and replenishment of product. They ensure the inventory planning process, in-season business, and inventory management for the company maximizes sales, enhances gross margin, and improves inventory productivity. In addition, they prepare purchase plans do drive buying decisions by the company. This procurement role requires the analyst to plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the purchasing activities and inventory management of the company. The analyst provides expertise in data analysis, reporting, and strategic action planning.

 

Duties and responsibilities

  • - Manage inventory purchasing for samples, point of purchase merchandising, replacement parts, marketing materials, and production bulk for assigned categories or brands.
