KLIM Review
September 17, 2013
I am writing to thank you and Klim for the support of riding gear for Donn Dennis and Alan Deyo that was supplied for our recent completion of the off road event called the Tour of Idaho.
We started at the Utah/Idaho border below Pocatello and finished near the Canadian border at Upper Priest Lake. We traveled 1673 miles, 75 hours riding time, in 7 days. We were wearing Klim pants, jersey, helmet, gloves, backpack, with hydration unit, and a Klim packable jacket. We both feel that all the gear was really good. We especially felt that the in the boot pants were the most comfortable riding pants that either of us have ever used. Alan has ridden several ISDE Six Days events and I have been riding and racing for over 50
years, so we have used a lot of different brands, styles, manufactures, and type of riding gear, so we feel that all of the Klim gear was the best. Seven days in the same gear with the shortest day being 8 hours and the longest day at 12.5 hours in off road conditions. We also had lots of different temperature changes in the 20-degree mornings to over 100 degrees in the desert of southern Idaho. We did not have any failures of any of the gear. Not a hole in a pair of gloves or a zipper problem in the backpack or pants. Your company can be very proud of the quality of the Klim motorcycle gear.
I have used Klim gear for some time, but I now have more information that I can pass on to sell the Klim products. I can give customers my personal testament as to the quality and durability of Klim products from my experience on the Tour of Idaho. I work part time at Motion Sports in Coeur d'Alene and have already sold some Klim gear based upon the article in the paper and my experience.
I am sending an article that was printed in our local papers (Coeur d'Alene Press and Clearwater News) concerning the Tour ofldaho trip we took. Although the reporter was reluctant to do any commercial writing in the article for you or us, the pictures show the Klim gear.
Thank you again for all your support. We are very grateful for all you have done for us to make this a great, enjoyable adventure.
