    Regional Sales Manager

    Essential Functions - The Regional Sales Manager plans and implements sales, marketing and product development programs, both short and long range, targeted toward existing and new clients within the defined territory.  This is accomplished through a well thought out sales strategy based on in depth market and opportunity analysis. Results are achieved through building strong and lasting relationships at the dealer level and also by hiring and retaining a strong regional sales team.

     

    Duties & Responsibilities

     

    • - Attend key Shows, events, races, and support dealer open houses
    • - Be a technical apparel specialist and provide ongoing dealer product and sales training
    • - Merchandise each stocking snowmobile and motorcycle dealer with KLIM fixtures and signage
    • - Monitor dealership inventories – recommend stocking levels 
    • - Collaborate with Dealers for best use of co-op advertising budget to promote the brand
    • - Promote dealer based resources – B2B Site/Dealer Portal / Dealer Locator / Accounting Portal
    • - Be involved in Industry associations and clubs.
    • - Network with industry professionals in each market segment and identify and support the Influencers
    • - Develop relationships with local racers, Search & Rescue, and law enforcement agencies
    • - Be visible in local media, social media & forums, dealership newsletters, and catalogs
    • - Provide leadership to sales reps with ongoing product and sales training
    • - Enforce and support KLIM’s map policy and protect the Brand image
    • - Resolve customer service escalations and support KLIM’s policies and procedures
    • - Participate in Go To Market strategies and events, provide support the other departments of KLIM
    • - Participate in sales meetings and provide solutions to challenges  
    • - Promote sales programs and product launches on new lines and redesigns
    • - Evaluate dealership survey results and make necessary adjustments to effect dealer satisfaction
    • - Represent the regional needs of the dealers and end users with product and operational feedback to the appropriate departments within KLIM  
    • - Determine appropriate staffing levels with contract reps & company employees to support the sales function in each territory
    • - Provide product feedback and new product development ideas to the Product Line Management teams
    • - Identify new distribution channels and segment growth opportunities
    • - Accomplishes all tasks as appropriately assigned or requested.
    • - Utilize CRM and insure that contacts are being made and follow up is executed according to plan
    • - Provide accurate and timely product and revenue forecasts to management and demand planning 
    • - Audit dealership websites for appropriate information and images of KLIM’s products
    • - Monitor expenses and operate within the budget
    • - Conduct reviews of sales reps
    • - Recruit and hire qualified sales reps in developing sales territories
    • - Execute the Exchange and Rotation options available at KLIM
    • - Be proactive in dealership payment delinquency and support collection efforts of management

     

    Education/Experience

     

    • - Goal Oriented, outgoing, motivated, persuasive, able to multi-task, and possess a desire to learn
    • - Must have the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
    • - Must possess professional communication skills and the ability to prioritize
    • - Minimum of 5 years of sales experience
    • - Must be technically proficient in Excel, Powerpoint, Word, and all Windows based applications
    • - Experience in the Snowmobile and/or Motorcycle industry is preferred.
    • - Bachelors degree in a business related field

     

    - Bilingual in French preferred
