    Zippers on thigh problematic

    by

I am 5'10, 135 lbs, 26" waist. From the sizing chart I should be a 6 tall. I purchased a 6 tall, the waist fits great, sits about 2" below navel. The length and butt fit great, I have a 33" inseam. Cute pants, I wanted these to fit! The main issue is the 2 zippers on the thigh are so stiff/rigid there is no flexibility and the thighs are really tight. Sitting on a bike, its uncomfortable unless you unzip both zippers. The 2nd issue, its difficult to get the pants over your hips, perhaps if the front zipper was longer would be better. I took the hip pads out to address this. I am going to try a size 8, and hope the waist and butt are not too big. As far as the look is concerned, I purchased the grey, these are the best looking womens pants on the market. However, I personally think the red zippers on the thigh are not very flattering combined with the stiffness of the zipper I hope klim will move the zipper to the outside of the thigh.

    Tall Girl Dream Pants

These pants are what I've been waiting for! I am 6'1", 135lbs, and I have the hardest time finding riding gear that fits properly. For years I have been wearing the Klim Badlands men's pants, size 32. Great pants, but they are super baggy in the crotch and really unflattering on me. The Klim Artemis pants fill a much needed place in women's adventure gear by being both quality made and female fit specific. These have a low rise front which I find really flattering, and the inseam (8 tall) is such that I can sit on my bike and the pants still cover my ankle. The quality is very good, well worth the price, with cool details and armor pads included in the hips and knees. I typically wear a 6-8 in women's clothing, and I found the 8 tall to be a tad loose but comfortable once I was sitting on the bike.

    Absolutely amazing.

Best pants on the market. The fit guide was spot-on - I'm 5' 7", 175 lbs, and usually wear a size 10 pants, but the fit guide recommended Size 12, Regular Length and they were PERFECT. They actually fit over my hips, and they have this great built-in belt to snug it around my waist after I get the pants up. There is adjustable elastic to snug the pants up to your calves, and the pants have a zipper at the bottom so you can get them on easy, but buttons so you can snug the bottom of the pants to your boots.
<br>So great, so comfy, so many vents, yet it keeps you dry and comfortable.

    Great pants... tight thighs.

I am 5’ 9”, and usually a size 14/16 US. I tried on the 16’s in a store and was very surprised to see that they were to large for me. So I tried the 14, and they fit well.... standing up. So, I ordered them, and then promptly went on a road trip from Alberta, Canada, to Custer in South Dakota. I am enjoying wearing these pants after being in a men’s fit previously. I do have a couple of bug bears. As in other reviews, the thighs are tight when sitting on the bike. Which makes for a very awkward gear change or brake and when putting your leg down at a stop and then lifting it up to the peg again. I took out the hip pads hoping it may make a small difference, it did and, it is something I live with. The fact that all the other features of these pants are great, I can live with tight thighs. But, please bare this in mind for the next time. A little more room in that area will be wonderful.
