    Still needs improvement.

    François

The booths are well made from first view. I wear 9 1/2 and bought size 10 as recommended. The booths are very stiff and hard to put on and off. The fit is good with regular socks, may not fit with winter socks! One foot feel good but I feel pressure on top of the other one not even buckled. I hope it will go away after wearing them for a while. Forget to wear them all day for riding, hicking or walking in town.

    Great Boot

    BG59

I have been a huge Klim fan for years. I race Snowcross as well as off road motorcycles so I have a good idea what works. Recently I decided to try the Adventure GTX boot and they didn’t disappoint ! I’m a size 12 and out of the box, the size 12 fit perfectly! I found them to be extremely comfortable. Like any motorcycle boot, they had a short break in cycle. A few days ago I had a Northern New England dual sport motorcycle ride that led me into some nasty snow conditions. The temperature was 40F when we left and ended up being 24F by the time we returned 8 hours later. Not once did my feet get cold or experience any discomfort. The Boa system is a bit different than what I’m used to in a boot but simple and effective is the best way to describe the functionality. If you’re looking for a solid boot that offers a ton of great features then I would highly recommend the GTX.

Great boot for ADV and light dual sport. All day comfy as advertised.

    Nate Cavanagh

Very nice boots. I was looking for something less beefy than my MX boots, for ADV and light dual sporting. I’ve done both since I got them and they’re all-day comfy and plenty beefy for all of it. I just did a long dirt ride through some tough single track and high speed bumpy fire road stuff. Had more than a couple low speed get-offs, one pinned my leg under the bike in a really awkward downhill rut. The boots did a great job protecting my foot and lower leg from the impact. Obviously they won’t work as well as a full MX boot, but still pretty damn impressive. All in all I’m very pleased with these. They do exactly what I hoped they would. Anybody looking at higher end ADV boots or something less gnarly than full MX boots should really consider these.

    My experience with the GTX

    JAMES

Received the Adventure GTX Boots. Wore them in my house to be sure of the fit. I wear a size 12, typically, and these were 12’s. I felt that they were slightly tight, though with no other size to slip on to compare, I just couldn’t be sure. I removed them and noticed a #6-4 Stainless Steel screw on the floor, and found my left boot buckle, missing a screw. I attempted to re-install the screw, but the nut plate inside the boot, didn’t line up. I called KLIM, and was passed on the Support. I emailed (per their request), a written report, along with photos, showing the issue, and explained that my time was short as I was going on a 2-3 month ride and needed a replacement, one size larger of the GTX Boots. I was told that the written report would be submitted to Warranty Repair for their decision. (Remember, I needed a size larger boot, anyway). I called and emailed daily and on the 4th day (after I had given up waiting,

Best boot of it's type for dual sport and technical singletrack

    Martin Hackworth

I spend a lot of time on technical singletrack with a Pulaski and saws. These boots are the answer to prayers my feet have had unanswered for decades. All day comfort for walking and riding, and much more appropriate for woods riding than plastic MX boots. Nits: Toe box is a little big, I'd rather see a second buckle than the BOA, they do require some break in. But overall, these are fantastic. Much more practical than my SG-12s or Crossfires for trail use. I just did 500 miles with them in the desert as well and they were not at all hot. Absolutely waterproof too, at least through two lengthy deep water crossings. Are they as protective as plastic MX boots? No, they are not, especially above the ankle. They are, however, more than adequate for most trail and dualsport use. Does the thick toe box take some getting used to? Yeah, a little. But not much. You Want a pair. Your feet will thank you.

Bst boot for hitting that single track!

    J Spooner

Love these boots. Great fit, and are so much better when you are off the bike clearing trail. Yet you still feel very protected and secure while on the bike. I took a couple butt ends of some cut windfalls and never felt like I was less protected then a traditional boot. Props to Martin Hacksworth on introduction to these.

    Love these boots

    BART

I wear a size 10 in my normal shoes and a 10 in these boots. I have EEE wide feet and these boots fit perfectly. I removed the supplied sole and replaced them with my prescription orthopedic soles. You do need to break them in. Wear them 30 minutes per day for a week or two before you ride with them. Makes a big difference. They are easy to get in and out. I love the fastening system, I however hope it last. The cables seem extremely thin. It works great, I just hope it hold up when riding in the dirt and it get covered in sand, mud et.

    Single Track Boot

    Tyler Thickstun

Bought these boots to step down from a full on MX boot as I ride trail & single track. The ankle support padding in these boots is exceptional. Boot was the most comfortable boot I've ever had straight out of the box. I opted to run this boot on my third ride doing a Hare Scramble. Very comfortable and my feet stayed dry (it was a mud race, they called it an hour early due to excessive rain!). I have found the boot for single track & walking around/clearing trails.

Great build quality. Toe box is huge!

    Brad

I’ve spent the last three days in these and yes they need some break in time so be prepared for that. Super quality boot. Rode through a downpour for about 2 hours and kept me dry. The only thing I’m not in love with is the toe box. It’s massive. Too big in my opinion for a motorcycle boot. You’ll most likely need to adjust the shift lever.

    Almost excellent

    Criz

Very well made, buckle works well and the boa does a great job, much better than 2 or 3 buckles would do. These so work fine with my mojave in the boot pants, didn't know if there was room. As the other reviews said, they do break in and are good for walking once you break them in. One BIG drawback that keeps it from a 5 star rating, the toe box is way to big, makes it hard to shift, have to adjust the shift lever and it's still not as good as my previous boots. When technical riding the large toe box does make your feet more clumsy, not good.
