Here’s a quick recap of where KLIM athletes put their gear to the test this weekend.
KLIM Women Ambassador Samantha Bird raced the District 6 Cross Country Ironman at Evansville Motocross Park in Berwick, Penn. and finished second in Women A and 73rd overall.
“The track was pretty beat up from the morning race that goes on before the main race,” Bird said of the 3-hour, 11-lap race. “I had a few good battles and ended up just behind first place.”
The weekend before, the Pennsylvania rider completed her fourth Spartan Ultra, a 50K marathon race at the Mountain Creek Resort in Vernon, N.J., “so my legs still felt very heavy from running up and down a ski mountain for almost 12 hours.”
“After doing something like that, riding my dirt bike for three hours is just one good workout,” Bird added. “Those Spartans definitely help with endurance training on the bike. I actually wore my KLIM waterproof socks for the Spartan – we go underwater – and for the mud race to keep my feet nice and dry for three hours of mud ruts!”
“With the lack of rain, the track, which is normally a red dirt hard pack with minimal rocks, was dusty,” Dutch said. “The tests were mostly singletrack and super silty sand, which made for some slick flat corners and fun straights. The super flowy tight tree sections were my favorite.”
“That KLIM flow yellow makes me happy,” Dutch said.
At Round 12 of the 2022 Grand National Cross Country Series in Newburg, W.V., New Jersey’s Ryder Sigety finished first in the 85 Big Wheel (12-15) class with just over a minute on second place.

In other news, KLIM athletes Dan Adams and Matt Entz attended The Rocky Mountain Snowmobile Expo in Denver to kick off the winter season by hosting a seminar on Avalanche Awareness and safety gear along with KLIM’s Snow Athlete Manager, Dustin Pancheri. Chris Burandt also hosted a seminar on “Top 10 Must Haves” to pack on a ride with lots of KLIM gear on the list.

On Sunday, Entz switched up his Mountain Skillz to tackle the 80-mile Bull Gulch Enduro in Texas Creek, Colo., finishing third in 40+A and 15 overall out of over 150 entries.
“This was a really fun race with a lot of variety,” Entz wrote on Instagram. “A few mistakes cost me 2nd place but sure enjoyed the race.”
“With this, I’ll finish in second place for the season,” he added of his first time ever running a full enduro season. “I’m extremely happy with that and feel like I made a lot of progress over the season. Also even hungrier to win a championship next year.”
